The Transit Area App is used to manage transport goods at the transport service provider's location. The transport order data is stored in the transport service provider's database.
Transport goods are managed by scanning barcodes, entering data manually or taking photos. The collected data is stored in the transport service provider's database.
The stored data is used exclusively for the provision of services by the transportation service provider:
Only data related to the provision of the transport service is collected and saved in the transport service provider's database.
In particular, Transit Areal App does not use or save or read the following general data of the mobile device in any way: contacts, ip address, Mac addresses, SIM card number, general media data (photos, videos, etc), health data, fingerprints, location data.
Credentials for the Transit Areal App
The credentials are provided by the transport service provider. The name of the user is not required. The username is a pseudonym for an employee or a device.
Data collected manually by the Transit Areal App user
The data is entered manually by the user. The data relates to the execution of the transport service and is stored in the transport service provider's database.
The Transit Areal App has no access to media data.
The scan mode is used to scan barcodes. No photos are taken, saved or transferred in this mode.
The photos taken while recording complaints are transmitted to the transport service provider.
Data that are collected automatically
Device data for problem analysis purposes: To improve the app and analyze errors, transport service provider/user (login pseudonym), login date, app version, OS version and device model are collected.
Error analysis and quality assurance: Via Microsoft App Center with "Crashreports" for error analysis and "Analytics user statistics" for quality assurance.
The collected data is stored locally and in the transport service provider's database.
When you log out, the locally stored data is deleted.
The data in the transport service provider's database remains stored. The duration is determined by the transport service provider, which is generally based on the legally required retention periods.
If the Transit Areal App is not used for 30 days, the device data stored at CHSOFT AG is automatically deleted.
Inspection and deletion rights regarding the device data stored by CHSOFT AG can be requested by email at any time.
Rights of inspection, objection or deletion of data in the Transit database must be agreed directly with the respective transport service provider. CHSOFT AG has neither a right of access nor a right to interfere with the database operated by the transportation service provider.
